Original engravings featuring two species of the genus Urena: Urena tricuspis (left) and Urena reticulata (right). These plants belong to the Malvaceae family, which also includes hibiscus and mallows. From "Icones plantarum Indiae Orientalis" (Figures of Indian Plants), a monumental six-volume work published by the Scottish botanist Robert Wight, 1838.
Custom framed with double mats, UV-resistant glass and a gold wood frame. In excellent condition. Dimensions: 17" x 19" each / 17" x 32" pair.
