A finely detailed engraving of Santa Clara College (Sinsinawa, Wisconsin), created from the original plate after Richard Rummell, one of the most celebrated American architectural illustrators of the early 20th century.

Originally issued circa 1913, this impression is printed on heavy woven (wove) paper and finished with delicate hand-coloring, bringing warmth and dimension to the architectural composition. Rummell’s work is highly regarded for its precise draftsmanship and romantic portrayal of prominent American institutions.

St. Clara College was a Catholic women’s college founded in 1901 in Sinsinawa, Wisconsin, by the Dominican Sisters. It offered a rigorous education, later moving to River Forest, Illinois, in 1922 to become Rosary College (now Dominican University). Historically, it was closely associated with Saint Clara Academy on Sinsinawa Mound.

Excellent condition.  Dimensions: 20” x 13”
